Softer than the Dramm. The preferred nozzle at Canada Bonsai

Hose Nozzle Dramm (1000 holes)
The classic. It works really well and is relatively durable in terms of impact and UV

Dramm Colorstorm 50' Garden Hose
A good quality hose that takes the frustration out of the experience. The red hose helps prevent tripping!

Multi Directional Hose Reel
There are two in use at Canada Bonsai. One has been mounted outdoors with daily abuse since 2020, no issues!

Simple Deluxe Fan (18")
This fan has proven reliable, even in high-humidity environments

SensorPush Gateway
Pair this gateway with sensors to closely monitor temperature and humidity. Set alerts when the temperature ranges outside of your tolerance range.

SensorPush Thermometer & Hygrometer Sensor
Pair these sensors with gateway to closely monitor temperature and humidity. Set alerts when the temperature ranges outside of your tolerance range.

Digital Thermometer & Hygrometer
This one tracks the daily High and Low extremes, so you can know how cold or hot things got while you were away (use 2 for different zones and/or averaging)

Bayite Temperature Controller
This device allows you to set a fixed temperature with a tolerance (e.g. +2 or -2 degrees). When the temperature is outside of your tolerance range, it will automatically turn on your heater or cooling (i.e. ventilation).

Propane Buddy Heater
When the power goes out on a cold winter day, you'll be happy you have this ready to go.

Space Heater (1500W)
This one gets the job done in an average shed or unheated garage (pair with Bayite Temperature Controller)

Full Spectrum Grow Light (48")
Great for overwintering Azaleas in an otherwise dark area, or for keeping 'indoor' bonsai healthy

Timer
In my experience, mechanical timers are the most reliable option. Mine get indirect spray daily. They've been outside since 2018, no issues!

Sphagnum Moss
Used to create fine top dressing, keep shallow pots cool in extreme heat, or for shipping plants

Textile Spot Cleaning Gun
For cleaning deadwood - no personal experience with this one

Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1
Used at 10% of the recommended dilution on a daily basis at Canada Bonsai

Dosatron D14MZ2
The model used at Canada Bonsai for all fish and seaweed applications

Photography lights
On social media, pictures are everything. Good lights will help your tree look as good in pictures (or better!) as is does in person

Softbox for Photography lights
Personally, I think these are a must with the lights

Retractable Photography Backdrop
Really reliable product. Reduces reflection. Well made. Get the bigger one, you won't regret it.

Gorilla Carts (800lbs)
There are always a few of these around at Canada Bonsai. They've saved my back more than once!

Headlamp (rechargeable)
Do you start taking your cuttings at 4am like I do ? Are you the type to go outside at 2am during a windstorm to see if any trees fell over?

Rooting Hormone (0.80% IBA)
The standard is 0.80% IBA for almost all cuttings propagated at Canada Bonsai.

Rooting Hormone (0.80% IBA) Large

Ultrasonic Mist Maker (6 Head)
What are you using for humidity for your cuttings? Canada Bonsai recently transitions from mist to fog, and it has made a big difference! Ignore the 'mist maker' name of this product. It is a game changer.
